B.A.R.K’s Burn-to-Mint process allows users to upgrade their existing K9 NFTs into new, evolved generations by "burning" their current asset. In exchange, users must supply specific resources—such as Alloy, Gold, and other rare materials from the Third Kingdom—that fuel the transformation. This process not only reduces the supply of older models, thereby increasing rarity and value, but also unlocks enhanced traits, improved animations, and additional metaverse functionalities in the next generation. Essentially, the burn-to-mint system creates a sustainable cycle of continuous evolution and long-term user engagement, ensuring every upgrade adds new layers of interactivity and utility to the digital companion experience.
